Winter Wonderland 2020

I often complain about the winters here in New England, but even so I have to admit that a snow storm can be a particularly beautiful event. In moderation! These photos are from an early snow storm in October, 2020.

In the first photo below, notice the band of clear snow around the base of the trees to the right. That will tell you how high the wind was blowing, and from which direction, during the storm.

Thank you for dropping by the Book of Bokeh. I would also like to invite you to visit my Book of Pain  poetry blog.

  1. John, thank you for your comment in Dec. I’ve not been ale to access the site until today and had to jumps through hoops to get here. Even now I’ve had figure out a way to reply. What once was so simple is now a quagmire of technological ‘innovation’ mistaken for progress. Ah well, such if life. Be well.
