Tree farm

This is a panoramic shot of a tree farm taken when a good friend, Dave Deuel (of Chaque Carrefour) and I, were on a recent metric century bicycle ride that hugged the Rhode Island seacoast. (Click on the image above to see a larger version and then click on that larger version to see it full scale.)

Despite the dramatic skies, luckily we did not get rained on, despite the fact that heavy showers fell further inland.

The panorama was made with the Microsoft Image Composite Editor (MICE), a free tool that does a good job, especially in balancing the exposure variations along the edges where the photos are stitched together. I recommend it highly.

I would also like to invite you to visit the poetry blog, the Book of Pain. As always, special thanks to my dearest spouse Lyn, who does most of the hard part: the photos selection. Thank you for dropping by the Book of Bokeh.
