New York City 2014 late fall

IMG_9678

You gotta love this street vendor/artist dude! Notice that he is doing his art on the official NYC Bike Map…

These pictures were taken on the same day as the People’s Climate March, but since they were more to do with New York City than the march, I am posting them separately. The last eight shots were all taken at Grand Central Station, NYC’s most important transportation hub, where trains, subways and bus lines intersect. Even if you have never been to New York City it is probable that you have seen it in many movies and the “constellation ceiling” is itself quite famous. The food court is typical fast food stuff, but the grocery market and shopping is quite upscale, albeit expensive.

Before viewing the photographs, I would also like to invite you to visit the poetry blog, the Book of Pain. As always, special thanks to my dearest Lyn, who does most of the hard part: the photo selections. Thank you for dropping by the Book of Bokeh.
