Rocky Neck

Rocky Neck State Park is another gem of a Connecticut park along the Long Island Sound. It is highly popular because of its wonderful swimming beach.

OK, so it’s confession time. The first few shots are not at  Rocky Neck, but en route to  Rocky Neck. But for the purposes of arranging photos, that was close enough for me! In any event I hope you enjoy them.

Before viewing the photographs, I would also like to invite you to visit the poetry blog, the Book of Pain. As always, special thanks to my dearest Lyn, She Of Great Taste In All Things But Men, who does most of the photo selection. Thank you for dropping by the Book of Bokeh.

    • You are so kind! What is ironic is that in retrospect you are entirely correct, and yet it was done by pure accident with no conscious stratagem on my part. Now, if only I can convince myself that Vincent van Gogh’s oil paint fell on his canvas with the same accidental randomness. I will be able to (even if but for a minute) convince myself that I am a master of my craft. (Ha! As if…)

      🙂

      • You totally did it on purpose. I just know it! 😉 I actually do believe that sometimes beautiful creations are not always entirely thought out, but are instead simply created.

        • Every time I pick up a camera, my theory is not to just expect miracles, but to depend on them happening. I wouldn’t have the courage to try, otherwise.
