Miscellaneous 5

Another collection of odds and sods photos that came in either alone or were pushed out (often and sadly, rudely) of another set.

Before viewing the photographs, I would also like to invite you to visit the poetry blog, the Book of Pain. As always, special thanks to my dearest Lyn, She Of Great Taste In All Things But Men, who does most of the photo selection. Thank you for dropping by the Book of Bokeh.

  1. Beautiful and interesting photos John, as always!!! I especially love the charm of one depicting the “warm shadows on the porch”. I also love the photos of the leaves ….. there’s something so exquisite in the design and in the shades of color in a single leaf. All of these photos hold a unique Beauty!!!

    • Linda, thank you so much. “Miscellaneous” is such a grab all term, isn’t it? And perhaps not the best. I like the photos and yet, with that title, they carry a sort of ‘orphaned child’ air about them…as if they didn’t fit in anywhere else. Steinbeck wrote a of novel on just such characters, “Cannery Row.” Maybe that’s the title I should use. 🙂 Thank you for taking the time to look at them closely and enjoy them richly.
