Hope Street 1

For my birthday this year, my wife took me to spend the day on Hope Street in Providence, RI. This picturesque street, just north of Brown University, has some wonderful little shops, incredible restaurants and sites of interest. We had lunch there, walked about, did a little shopping, sat in a park and generally relaxed before having dinner and then heading off to the symphony (Shostakovitch’s 5th). To cap things off, it was a warm, sunny spring day—our first of the year. All in all, a wonderful day together and a wonderful birthday present.

There are other photographs from this day at Hope St. 2 as well as flower pictures also shot on the same day at To springdom come 1 and To springdom come 2.

Before viewing the photographs, I would also like to invite you to visit the poetry blog, the Book of Pain. Thank you for dropping by the Book of Bokeh.
