Lake Tahoe – 5

The fifth set (and final, for now) in a series of pictures from Lake Tahoe. The previous four are here,  here,  here and here.

Notice the first image: Lake Tahoe is big enough that if you get high enough you can see the coriolis effect, the rotation of any fluid (gas or liquid) caused by the earth’s spin. Here it is the wind over the water, aided by the bowl-like mountains that surround the lake.
